Ferry Across the Harbour
Start by crossing the water.
It changes the pace straight away.
Catch the ferry to Beachlands with your bike.
2. MOMENT
Coffee by the Marina
Ease into it with something warm by the water.
Grab a coffee at the Beachlands marina.
3. MOVE
Ride the Pōhutukawa Coast
Let the coastline lead. The path does the work.
Cycle the coastal walkway toward Maraetai
4. MOMENT
Something Cold in Maraetai
A pause, not a destination.
Stop for an ice cream or drink in Maraetai
5. MOVE
Ride Back into Golden Hour
The return is part of it.
Cycle back toward Beachlands as the light softens.
6. FINISH
Dinner by the Water
Finish where you started, but slower.
Dinner and sunset at the marina.

My Franklin – Bill Cashmore
